September 27 Gluten Free Brunch and Biscuit DemonstrationToday we were happy to have Mary Frances Pickett, author of The Gluten Free [Cooking School] blog, teaching us how to make delicious gluten free biscuits. (You'll find her site link with the recipe at the left, under blogs)
She made it all look effortless, and taste wonderful! They were melt-in-your-mouth buttery great! Our group members brought brunch dishes to share, and we enjoyed a buffet of fresh hot biscuits, sausage gravy, hash brown casserole, fruit, banana bread, cinnamon rolls,fresh juices, and homemade jams. Everything was most delicious!!!! Many, many thanks to Mary Frances for her time, the great biscuits, and to everyone who came, cooked, and helped. I had a very nice time talking to everyone, and left with a full tummy and a smile on my face - can't wait 'til the next one! |
